A ROCK gig held last Saturday (May 8) could become a monthly event in Upton.
Four bands, including the town's Neitherbignorclever, raised more than £130 for Wateraid at a gig in the Church Rooms.
The event attracted around 45 young people.
Organiser Luke Leighfield, aged 16, said the gig had been a great success and he hoped similar events would become a regular feature.
The next gig takes place at the Church Rooms on Saturday, June 5, from 7pm to 10.30pm. Admission is £3.
