A LIVE music event featuring local bands is being held by Worcester City FC Supporters' Trust.
The event is being held to raise funds for the newly-founded trust as well as giving people the chance to listen to some top music.
Bands Snorkel and Sideways Glance will be playing at tomorrow's live gig, which is being held at Worcester City FC Social Club.
The event is especially important to a number of the band members, as they are regular supporters of the football club.
Simon Pitt, singer with Snorkel, is a Worcester City supporter.
"Three of us from the group are fans," he said.
"We watch most home games there, and some away occasionally."
Aside from Snorkel, the band consists of Andy Schwab on lead guitar, Steve Badsey on rhythm guitar, Simon Jones on bass and Keith Box on drums.
Snorkel have got a four-track CD called Do You Want Some, which came out three months ago.
"There are just a couple of our songs that are quirky, but mostly they are about girls, cars and beer," says Simon.
"Our music is sort of melodic with a punky influence.
"There are two or three song writers in the band, which is why we have the occasional quirky song."
Although Snorkel write their own material, they will be treating music fans to a few cover versions at the music event tomorrow.
They will be playing numbers by artists such as The Ramones and The Pixies.
Simon has been the frontman of Snorkel for the last two years.
"They had been going for three years before I joined. We were all friends and have known each other from previous bands," he said.
"Snorkel put on quite an exciting live show."
Jem Pitt, Simon's brother, is a member of Worcester City Supporters' Trust's Steering Committee.
"The money is being raised to basically give the supporters of the club better facilities and make the whole experience of being involved in the club more comfortable," he says.
"We have already painted the social club and smartened that up.
"We're hoping to use the funds for disabled facilities at the grounds.
"One of the things we want to do is to make the ladies' toilets a little more clean.
"Another of our aims is to get the local community involved in the club.
"We'd also like to see if we could raise funds to help junior footballers.
"The trust was funded last month, and it has taken the weight off the football club."
The event, at Worcester City FC Social Club ,starts at 8pm, and tickets costing £3 will be available in the door.
The venue is situated on the football ground at St George's Lane North, Barbourne, Worcester.
