AFTER the difficulties of the previous week, with a shortage of players resulting in defeats at Bewdley and Bustleholme, Malvern Rangers' frustration continued this last week with inactivity.
Firstly on Monday, the scheduled West Midlands Division One (South) league fixture against Reality Sports on the Saturday was postponed, the Worcester based side withdrawing from the league because of a shortage of players.
On Wednesday, the scheduled Worcester Nursing Junior Cup final against Archdales at Worcester City's St George's Lane was postponed during the afternoon with a waterlogged pitch.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Rangers complete their West Midlands League Division One South programme when they entertain Chaddesley Corbett at Victoria Park playing fields, kick off 2.45pm, players to meet at the ground 1.30pm.
The curtain comes down on their 40th season on the following Tuesday, May 18, when they travel to Pershore Town's ground to play Archdales in the Worcester Nursing Junior Cup final, kick off 7.30pm, players to meet Brooklyn Motors 6pm or at Pershore 6.30pm.
