HUNDREDS of Brintons employees face uncertainty after company bosses warned job cuts were likely as they take action to prune costs and improve profitability.
The measures include seeking to keep levels of future wage settlements as low as possible to minimise additional costs.
Brintons has recently been working a four-day week at Kidderminster, where it employs 750 people, and shedding short-term contract employees at its site in Telford, where there are 230 employees.
The warnings also affect the 71 employees at Brintons-owned Woodward Grosvenor, in Green Street, Kidderminster.
