FROM alien-looking slippers to flip-flops, from football boots to espadrilles, pupils wore a dazzling array of footwear to school on Friday.
Students at Blessed Edward Oldcorne RC High School paid 50p each to take part in Odd Shoe Day, to "put the boot into poverty".
The school hoped to raise £500 for the Father Hudson's Society, which helps to provide for struggling families in the Archdiocese of Birmingham.
