Memories of village life in Worcestershire are being sought by a Somerset-based author who is keen to write a new book, covering the years 1930 to 1970.
Henry Buckton, of Glastonbury, said he would love to hear from anyone who has photographs and memories of the county in that particular period.
He said: "The book covers all aspects of village life, such as rural industries, country crafts, transport, customs, fetes and fairs."
Other topics to be covered include country pursuits, hunting, village shops, the village hall, the church, the pub and the village bobby.
Mr Buckton added: "Perhaps there was something unique about the village in which you lived. Did it have its own traditions? Or was there something that took place in your village which made it famous, or infamous?"
Anyone wishing to have their Worcestershire memories recorded for posterity should write to Henry Buckton, PO Box 2770, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 9XD.
