CAN someone tell me what is happening to the Royal Mail? It now appears to take a week rather than a day for a letter to travel from one area of Worcester to another.
On Saturday morning, we received our telephone bill, dated April 28. Saturday's date was May 8, so the bill had taken over a week to reach us. Payment of the bill was required by May 10. That was being hopeful!
I received a letter at 10.30am calling me to do a guided tour in Worcester Cathedral from 10am-12pm. I was very upset as I was not only letting my visit's officer down, but a large group of school children.
The letter had been posted in plenty of time for me to keep the above appointment, if the Royal Mail had delivered it promptly to me.
NANCY DYSON, Worcester.
