HEREFORDSHIRE residents will get another chance to have their say on how land is used in Herefordshire in the future.
Views are being sought on the county's planning blueprint, called the "unitary plan", until Thursday, June 24.
A first draft was published in 2002 and more than 3,500 comments were received - with the plan revised to reflect feedback.
It has since been approved by Herefordshire Council in March this year and is now available for public comment during the next month.
The main changes are a new proposal for 300 houses on land at Bullinghope, Hereford, and deletion of proposals for housing and employment development north of Roman Road in the city.
Other changes include more affordable housing in rural areas, the development of Porthouse Farm in Bromyard for housing, with the original proposal for housing at Lower Hardwick Lane being deleted and Linton Trading Estate being earmarked for expansion.
The plan - which can be viewed at 17 locations countywide - also includes new policies for Hereford city centre, including a redrafting of its boundary.
The document can also be seen and representations submitted on the council's website at www.herefordshire.gov.uk/udp
It will be discussed at forums during May and June giving an opportunity to discuss specific issues with planning officers.
For details of venues, telephone the council's forward planning section on 01432 260142.
