HISTORY will be coming to life during the annual Mediaeval Week at Hartlebury Castle, near Kiddermisnter.
Worcestershire County Museum's premier event is billed to be bigger and better than ever with an expanded display of 15th Century games, costumes, and skills.
Sir William Gascoigne's Fellowship - a re-enactment society - will dress as felons and friars to show everyday life in the time of the Wars of the Roses.
The group will pitch their tents in the Old Moat Coppice, around the castle, and their camp will be open to visitors on Sunday, May 30, and Bank Holiday Monday, May 31.
There will be longbow archery and military skills, as well as brewing, bread baking, music, leather working and medicines for the treatment of wounds and everyday ailments.
Inside each tent visitors can also watch games of chance, hear traditional tales and see displays of weapons and armour.
The fun will continue throughout the week with displays of dancing, money-stamping and painting from Tuesday, June 1, to Friday, June 4.
The Orchard Caf will also be open, as will the castle shop. Free parking, picnic space, toilets and baby-changing facilities are also provided.
