What is the Government doing to permit newspapers to print photos of our troops supposedly abusing prisoners in Iraq?
Some years ago the editor and the suppliers would have been put against the wall and shot for treason, when you consider how many of our servicemen will lose their lives in retaliation for this disclosure. It's obvious to this type of people money means more than life. This abuse of prisoners is nothing new. It's happened in all wars, and all nations are guilty, carried out by a sadistic minority on the eye-for-an-eye principle.
It was not news, more like a death warrant for a number of our troops.
Jack Driver, Cradley.
