WORCESTERSHIRE people can ramble through history this summer, in the company of county experts.
Staff with Worcestershire County Council's Historic Environment and Archaeology Service will lead a number of walks between now and the start of autumn.
On Sunday, June 13, there will be a four-mile mediaeval time trip at Clifton on Teme and Homme Castle, while on Sunday, June 27, a vanished mediaeval village will be revealed at Grafton Flyford.
On Sunday, July 25, the history of Longdon Marsh from prehistoric to medieval times will be discovered in a three-mile exploration.
Other places of interest to be visited under the "Walkpast" scheme include Astley and Areley Kings, Cotheridge Parish, Chateau Impney Park and Woodbury Hill Fort, Great Witley.
Each walk will be limited to just 25 people.
