STUDLEY A team retained second spot in the PRS League's Premier Division with a 3-1 win over Henley A.
Although Henley put up a good fight in all rubbers, Studley emerged the stronger side with Jim Hunt and Gary Jackson in top form.
Chris Hughes and Dave Innes of Studley got off to a bad start losing to Jim Turner and Tim Burns of Henley 3-6, 2-6 but managed to stop the rot to beat Dave Howard and Julian Morris 7-6, 6-3.
Gary Jackson and Jim Hunt of Studley beat Howard and Morris 6-4, 6-2, and beat Turner and Burns 7-6, 7-5.
Inkberrow A moved up the table into third place with an emphatic 4-0 result at the expense of FISSC A of Stratford.
Inkberrow's Graeme Rankin and Andy Woodbridge beat Bob Baker and Matt Baker 6-3, 6-3 and destroyed Ali Kashani and Richard Nettleton 6-1, 6-2.
Jonathan Bradshaw and Mick Rawlings of Inkberrow also hammered Kashani and Nettleton 6-3, 6-2 as well as Baker and Baker 6-3, 6-3.
In Division One Aston Cantlow were whitewashed 4-0 by Claverdon A who kept up their 100 per cent winning record.
Nigel Baker and Mark Bradley of Claverdon beat Aston Cantlow's Greg Reeves and Stuart Millman 6-4, 6-3, and beat Wilf Chan and John Nicklass 6-3, 6-3.
Richard Butler and Andrew Williams of Claverdon beat Chan and Nicklass 6-2, 6-2, and beat Reeves Millman 6-1, 6-2.
Bidford A claimed their first victory and fourth spot with a 3-1 win over Inkberrow B.
Matt Saunders and Andy Cox did the damage for Bidford defeating first Steve Price and Andrew Jones 6-2, 6-4, before disposing of David Ager and Mike Baker 6-2, 6-4.
Paul Bruner and Simon Price of Bidford lost to Ager and Baker but beat Price and Jones.
