AMBITIOUS Headless Cross under 9s had an up and down season which ended on a high after scooping the R and T Tours Southport Cup.
The Central Warwickshire League Division A side lacked consistency in the league but managed to beat teams from Liverpool and Manchester in their cup final.
In the past year the team has reached four cup finals in the past year and won two.
Manager Andy Hodgetts said: "We've got one or two of the best players around, three are already part of the Coventry City academy set-up."
And the team is on the look out for more quality players to add to their successful team.
"I can't stress enough that we need top grade players to join us."
Interested players can call Mr Hodgetts on 852885.
