FUNNY man Bobby Davro stops off at the Palace Theatre on Friday with his brand new show Not in Front of the Children.

The well-known TV performer first hit our screens in 1981 but his major breakthrough came with an appearance in Live at Her Majesty's in 1983.

He went on to front his own TV series Bobby Davro on the Box and Bobby's Sketch pad, later moving to BBC with his hit shows Public Enemy Number One, Rock with Laughter and Run the Risk.

He has appeared in many summer shows and pantomimes and starred in Aladdin at the Birmingham Hippodrome in 2002.

A Palace spokesman said: "Not in Front of the Children sees Bobby at his most outrageous best. This brand new show sees Bobby blend his quick fire comedy and amazing impressions with loads of cheeky audience participation and marvellous music."

He added: "Not for children! Not for the fainthearted! Make sure you get to see Bobby Davro at his most wicked best!"

Tickets, priced £14 (£13.50 reddicard) for the show, which starts at 7.30pm, are available from the Information Centre, or by calling 65203. Alternatively, email ticket requests to
