UP-and-coming band Elixir bring their "unique blend of raunchy and melodic classic rock" to the New Tardebigge pub, Hewell Lane, on Tuesday night.
The four-piece from Birmingham are made up of three brothers - guitarist PJ, vocalist John and drummer Paul Tierney, who set up the band about two years ago together with Dan Clark on bass, who produced their first CD and helped with musical arrangements.
Elixir's main musical influences are The Beatles, U2, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Bob Dylan. They began writing their own material two years ago and have a collection of more than 20 songs.
They are continuing to write new material and record.
Admission is £2 on the door, with supporting musicians from 8pm before Elixir take centre stage at 9.45pm, when they'll also be giving out free copies of their latest CD.
