DROITWICH Spa Cricket Club won all of their five matches last weekend.
After two weeks of rain-wrecked action, the St Peter's Field club won three games against Eastnor last Saturday and two against Stourbridge 24 hours later.
Captain Steve Walsh said: "It's quite unusual really to win five out of five. It was very pleasing having not played for a couple of weeks."
Walsh's First XI won by seven wickets at Eastnor and the Second XI won the reverse fixture by eight wickets thanks to four apiece from Anthony Small and Dave Stevens skittling their opponent for 137. Skipper Gareth Thomas' half century sealed victory. Spa Thirds beat Eastnor by 128 runs.
The First XI beat Stourbridge by 57 runs in their opening Worcestershire Sunday League match. The Second XI won the return.
l Spa's First XI travel to Chaddesley Corbett this Saturday. Walsh said: "That will be a tough game. They are a good batting side. They won last Saturday so they will be feeling confident."
