WOMEN wanting to shape up for the summer are invited to try a unique ladies-only gym being opened in Bromsgrove next week.

The first Curves gym in the Midlands will open on the Silver Birches Business Park, in Aston Road, next Monday.

The gym offers women a unique workout, which has been proven to reveal dramatic results with three weekly sessions lasting 30 minutes each.

Energetic women can join the circuit at any point, working out on each machine to music for just 30 seconds before moving on.

"Our workout incorporates cardiovascular and strength training and are suitable for women of all ages and abilities," said Lisa Yli-Juuti, gym owner and manager.

But she went on to stress the main emphasis of the workout is to have lots of fun in a supportive and friendly environment.

Curves is an American company with more than 7,000 gyms across the world.
