STUDLEY cricket club notched up their first win of the season with a 34 run win over strugglers Attock.
Skipper Mark Edward literally played a captain's role, top scoring for the Birmingham Road men with 32 after the home side opened the batting.
Opener Simon Stamenkovic rattled off 21 before last year's captain Brandon Miller, made 17, ending Studley on 153 all out.
After a slow start the visitors' middle order piled on the pressure but decent spells of bowling from Miller and Swannick kept Attock at bay and restricted them to 119 all out.
With just three games gone in the Birmingham League Division Two Studley sit midtable after accruing 31 points from three games - just 13 points behind leaders Shifnal.
Studley face a trip to second from bottom club Fordhouses on Saturday.
