THE May meeting was resolutions night and president Jill Warner welcomed Margaret Aldridge, president of Hollywood WI and Wythall's delegate to the AGM in Sheffield.
Members had made a donation to St Mary's Hospice in memory of Doreen Ansell, a past president.
There was also a Water Raffle, where the committee had donated water- related items in aid of ACWW 75th anniversary for Water for All. This was rather ironic as it was raining very heavily during the meeting.
Also on show during the evening were past scrapbooks to remind members of the format as the next scrapbook is due next year .
Brenda Gwilliam drew everyone's attention to the new Wythall bus that travels around the parish and will stop anywhere it is hailed.
After business, Margaret guided everyone through the three resolutions up for discussion, giving details into the background for concerns on trafficking of women and children, the growing of GM crops and funding for the Air Ambulance.
The majority supported all these resolutions.
Sheila Martin gave a report on the spring council meeting at Malvern.
