TWO childcare experts have taken a trip across the pond to promote and improve Worcestershire's work in the classroom.
June Seymour, from the county council, and Alison Robins, from University College Worcester, flew to New England, in America, to share best practice with stateside colleagues.
The pair attended the 23rd National Paraprofessional Conference in Rhode Island yesterday and discussed teaching assistant training and development in Worcestershire.
"It's really nice that we're very noticeably on the scene and that people from all over the world are looking at what we're doing in Worcestershire," said Ms Seymour, teaching assistant training and development co-ordinator at the county council.
There are more than 3,000 teaching assistants in Worcestershire County Council's 280 schools.
