HOW could our inept Wychavon councillors give a travelling circus permission to use and create carnage to the meadow alongside the New Bridge.
This resultied in deep ruts and heavy vehicle tyre tracks leaving it looking like a ploughed field?
Its only a few years ago that in their infinite wisdom they stopped the yearly grass track meeting, because as they said at the time it was damaging the meadow too much, what poppycock, the grass grew back in a few weeks, also local charities were deprived of funds due to the ban.
The damage the circus has created will take much longer to reinstate to its former glory, no doubt paid for out of local council tax, as will the removal of huge clumps of mud left on the Abbey Road and Cheltenham Road as they exited the town.
