ATHLETICS: Eight Amazing Feet Running Club members contributed to excellent results at the Halesowen Hillock 10-mile multi-terrain race.
Ruth Miles finished fifth female and third senior lady in one hour 24 minutes 31 seconds which meant 56th position overall.
John Amos was second over-45 male and 22nd overall in 1-17-14, while Roger Canavan ended up third over-60 and 110th in 1-37-59 and Eddie Sanders was 21st and fourth over-50 in 1-17-02.
Other times and positions: David Pye 1-35-25, 101st; Andy Norris 1-36-52, 107th; Faye Evans 116th; Chris Miles 1-43-01, 126th.
Pye was in action again at Bromsgrove running in the 10km event for Leukaemia Research.
He recorded 47-0 on a hot morning on a tough course, trailing his son Shaw who clocked 43-0.
New club member Simon Gregg managed 49-0 and Richard Baker 52-34 in the race which was also completed by Michael and Maureen Heasman.
The club's other recent newcomer Philip Bubb ran 44-35 in the Town and Gown 10km in Oxford among a field of over 3,000.
