ROWING: Stourport's juniors were again in tremendous form at Shrewsbury Regatta and Sprint with a string of victories.
Saturday brought success in the junior 13, 15 and 18 singles, while the senior three, women's senior four doubles and girls' junior 15 coxed quad also won.
The highlight of the day was the win for the men's veteran B coxed four who convincingly beat a strong Loughborough crew to take the honours.
Blazing sunshine and rising temperatures were not the best of conditions for competition on the Sunday but Stourport juniors still managed a creditable six wins.
They arrived in the junior 13 and 15 singles, the junior and women's 13 singles, the junior 15 doubles and coxed quad sections.
Nicola Price, a girls' 13 single rower, looked in particularly fine form for the season.
Rebecca Saunders and Laura Ray picked up three successes overall, while there were two for Dan Brighton, Mat Brighton, Jess Danby, Stacy Gwilliam and Rebecca Perkins.
Nicola Price, Lewis Beech, Ben Adams, Simon Brown, Jamie Morris, Laura Gauntlet, Rupert Conway, Ashley Price, Andy Hough, Ian Hough, Carol Hough, Simon Rush and Mark Betson were also winners.
