THE Fun 2 Learn Club will be starting up next month at The Green Centre, in Worcester's Dines Green.
Some of the interesting activities planned are pond dipping, where youngsters learn about pond life, and a visit to St John's Library.
The sessions will include reading, writing, drawing, and games.
The club, which starts on Wednesday, June 16, is for five to 11 year-olds, and costs 50p a session. It runs from 4pm to 5.30pm.
Fun 2 Learn comes under the Child and Family Forum. The forum consists of qualified staff who have achieved NVQ 3 and CACHE 2 (The Council for Awards in Children's Care and Education) qualifications in play work.
"We're looking for more people to join the forum and work on the community side of it," said play worker Barbara Giles.
"We're looking for people to work on the play schemes in the community.
"Somebody might have skills such as computer skills, or chairing meetings."
Interested people can call Mrs Giles on 07986 025941 or The Green Centre on 01905 429628.
