BRIARS Phoenix were surprised by lower league opposition in their Kidderminster Hospital Sunday Minor Cup final.

The Kidderminster club lost 2-1 to Causeway who play two divisions below them in the Kidderminster and District League.

However, St Johns Tigers earned a 3-2 win over Halas Hawks to collect the Kidderminster Harriers Youth Shield.

Sunday Premier runners-up Woodside United lifted the Fire Shield and Kidderminster Hospital Junior Cup in a thrilling end to the season.
