PERRY Mountain took first place at Broadheath Fishery's Jam Factory on Saturday, weighing in 45lb 12oz fishing the pole at 13 metres.
In the margins, Mountain took carp to 6lb on corn hook bait.
Richard Billingham landed a superb 13lb 1oz common carp and now leads for the biggest fish trophy.
But Billingham was beaten into second place by Dave Lewis who caught carp to 5lb on corn and caster.
Result: Mountain 45-12, Lewis 38-4, Billingham 37-1, Martin Tayloe 33-0, Mark Johnson 32-4, Andy Bentley 31-8.
The next contest is at Furnace Mill Fishery on Saturday with an 8am draw and fishing from 9am until 2pm.
