HEREFORD United defender Andy Tretton has handed the club a boost by extending his stay at Edgar Street.
Tretton, who is currently on international duty with the England National Game XI, has signed for a further year at the club.
Striker David Brown is also reportedly close to clinching a deal as Bulls boss Graham Turner sets about strengthening his squad following the departures of Michael Rose and Steve Guinan.
n Promising Stourport Swifts striker Robbie Taylor is set to train with Hereford during pre-season with a view to a permanent move.
"He's already played half-a-dozen reserve team games for them and they want to take a further look at him," said Swifts boss Dave Titterton.
"There's no doubting his ability but it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. He's got an opportunity and good luck to him."
Titterton is meeting five new players tonight as he bids to boost Swifts squad.
Hereford have arranged two pre-season friendlies with Football League opposition,
They will play Bristol City on Tuesday, July 27 and West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday, August 4th, both at Edgar Street.
