ON Sunday, May 30, there will be a six-mile town and forest trail on "Bewdley's Alleyways and Byways", led by Eric Perks.
Walkers will leave the Great Western at 9.30am. All profits from this event will be given to Blakebrook Gymnastic Club, which caters for children and young adults with disabilities. With regular training the gymnasts enter festivals, displays and both regional and national competitions.
The club, which has been running for around 12 years, is based at Blakebrook School, Kidderminster, currently comprising 16 gymnasts and three coaches.
A series of Wednesday evening strolls has been organised, entitled "Bear shoot Walks". There is no entry fee, but donations to the BBC Children in Need Appeal will be appreciated.
The strolls, of around four miles, will start at 7pm, the first to be held on June 2, leaving the Rose and Crown, Shrawley.
For details of the club contact Mr Perks on 01299 404216.
