FARMERS will have the opportunity to catch up on the latest news on waste at a Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group event at the end of the month.
Wising Up On Waste at the Berkeley Arms, Spetchley, on Thursday, May 27 at 10.30am will share information gathered over the last two years from a project funded by the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme.
The meeting will be chaired by Dan Houseago, Worcestershire FWAG chairman, and guest speakers will be Jim Bullock, Worcestershire farmer and director of the soil management initiative, on Minimum Tillage, and Paul Thames, NFU regional environment and land-use adviser in the West Midlands. There will be an opportunity for informal discussion with FWAG farm conservation advisers Julie Dadson and Bruce Fowkes followed by a visit to Home Farm, Spetchley.
