FORMER Harriers favourite Danny Williams has stepped up to Division Two level by moving back to hometown club Wrexham.
Williams originally signed for the Welshmen in 1999 after being released by Liverpool before going onto become a key midfield player at Aggborough.
But he became unsettled at Harriers and moved on to Bristol Rovers with striker Bo Henriksen on a free transfer until the end of the season.
Williams, who turns 25 in July, has rejected a new contract offer from Rovers, where he played six games and scored one goal, to return to Wrexham on a two-year deal.
Henriksen, who scored 20 league goals in season 2002-03 for Harriers, was released by boss Ian Atkins after starting just one game.
He is believed to be planning talks with an Irish club who have expressed an interest.
