HAVING lost its traditional Saturday afternoon slot, it will be interesting to note how attendance figures compare to previous years when Strat-ford Racecourse stages the 46th running of the Intrum Justitia (Horse and Hound Cup) Final Champion Hunters' Steeplechase this weekend.
This year's race takes place during Saturday's evening meeting and has attracted prize money of £32,000. The first race is due off at 5.50pm.
The two-day meeting, boasting 13 races and more than £165,000 of added prize money, starts tomorrow night with the opening race at 6.20pm.
The feature of the night is the Weatherbys sponsored John Corbet Cup, the end of season Champion Novice Hunters' Steeplechase, raced over three and a half miles.
Admission is £6 course, £12 Tattersalls and £16 Club, accompanied children under 16 are admitted free.
