PEDAL power proved to be the way forward for charity when toddlers and children took part in a sponsored "Wheelie".
Youngsters, aged from one to three years old, from Salvation Army Parent and Toddlers, took part in two "Wheelie" events to drum up funds for the NSPCC and the Worcester Salvation Army.
Around 10 children rode or pushed items with wheels, and some were helped by the adults.
"It went very well," said Mary Harry, community assistant from Worcester Salvation Army.
"The children were very enthusiastic and supportive.
"They were supposed to do 15 laps, but one little boy did 34.
"Some parents pushed children in little cars and bikes, and other children pushed along toys with wheels, such as trolleys and wheelbarrows.
"They really enjoyed themselves."
The money raised is still being counted up.
Seventy per cent of the money will be donated to the NSPCC and 30 per cent to Worcester Salvation Army.
The events, on Tuesday and yesterday, were held at The Salvation Army Building, Ronkswood, Worcester.
