ARTISTIC youngsters from a Worcester school had some professional advice when a well-known city painter paid them a visit.
David Birtwhistle, who owns the art shop Birties in Friar Street, showed off some of his work to Year Three pupils at Kempsey Primary School yesterday.
The seven and eight-year-olds have been learning about art and have been trying their hand at landscape paintings and sketching.
"David showed them some of his own work, as well as drawing some of the pupils there and then," said teacher Claire Vincent.
"They were fascinated by his work and really enjoyed his visit."
