A VALE woman who took part in a TV home makeover show was so overwhelmed with the results she burst into tears.
Trudy Andrew, from Evesham, took part in BBC1's House Invaders last Wednesday and spent the day with celebrity designer Anna Ryder Richardson.
A team of around 15 workers recycled materials from Trudy's house in Barnard's Close to revamp her bedroom, kitchen and lounge.
The mother-of-two said: "I did not know what to expect and I was that overwhelmed by what had been done to my bedroom I burst out crying.
"It takes a lot for me to be impressed but this was the bee's knees!"
The show's team had created an 'Oriental' look for Trudy's room, which included new handles and mirrors on the wardrobes.
