A CHARITY worker had a handbag stolen from her car while she was out collecting for Christian Aid.
Eileen Richardson, a member of Malvern Churches' Justice and Peace Group, had parked her blue Ford Mondeo in St Peter's Road, North Malvern, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday (May 11).
When she returned, she found the passenger window had been smashed and her bag taken. Her bank cards, driving licence, and purse containing £50 were inside the bag.
"I was stupid and left my bag on the floor in the front and some opportunist came past and saw it," she said.
She is now appealing to anyone who may have found the black leather shoulder bag or dark blue leather wallet to hand them in to Malvern police station. Anyone who saw the incident should contact the police on 08457 444888 quoting 62E/110504.
