An armoured car and police cruisers were among the unusual forms of transport for students arriving at The Chase school's annual prom night.
Crowds gathered to watch as the Year 11 youngsters arrived in style last Thursday evening (May 13) for the traditional celebration prior to their GCSE exams.
Among the vehicles that pulled up at the school gates was a New York police cruiser, a flatbed lorry with tables and chairs on the back, an armoured car, a variety of classic cars and plenty of limousines.
The 230 pupils were treated to a disco and music from a live band, along with a bouncy castle and non-alcoholic bar.
The school hall was specially decorated for the occasion by the student ball committee, which also organised the event with help from the Chase Association.
The head of Year 11, Malcolm Pearson, addressed the students and handed out prizes.
Deputy head Annie Williams said: "It was the social event of Malvern for young people. They did themselves proud.
"So many people turned out to watch them arrive in different modes of transport. I think we do a very good venue and it's a lovely send-off."
