Special interest attached to the annual meeting of the local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in the Lyttelton Rooms on Saturday last from the fact that the Countess Beauchamp very kindly attended and distributed prizes to the children. Though it was 10 miles from Ledbury, it was apparently disrupting the town's trade. Malvern Gazette, May 24, 1979.
