COLWALL'S newly established fourth team played their first game on home soil with nine players aged between 12 and 17.
COLWALL 4ths v HALLOW
Hallow's openers made a strong start and it was Dee Lannie, who broke the opening partnership of 145 and she soon bowled the other opener.
Dee, aged 17, is the first female to take a league wicket for Colwall. Overall the bowling improved but Hallow still achieved 244-8 from 45 overs.
Never likely to win, Colwall set off for a draw. The batting was technically very strong and Hallow could not get the last wicket as Colwall hung on at 88-9.
