KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' players are targeting at least a play-off spot in the Nationwide League Division Three next season.
Now the dust has settled on a disappointing campaign in which Jan Molby's men finished 16th, defender Wayne Hatswell and striker Jesper Christiansen are convinced that better times are ahead at Aggborough.
Skipper Hatswell was deservedly named 'Player of the Season' for his efforts during Kidderminster's successful relegation fight and is eager for his side to enjoy better fortunes next term.
He said: "We've got to be looking at the play-offs at least. Jan had a similar goal in mind last time he was here and he must be thinking of the same for next season. But there are no easy games in this league and it's very easy to get beaten when you're off your game."
Christiansen agrees that Harriers should be capable of better results next term, saying: "With a manager like Jan Molby, with his knowledge of the game, I can't see any reason whatsoever why we can't be in the play-offs next season.
"Having said that, I have only seen Kidderminster when they were struggling in relegation trouble, but I've got every confidence Jan can bring the right players in and we can go for it."
Meanwhile, Harriers assistant manager Gary Barnett has hailed John Danby who has agreed a new two year deal after taking over a first choice goalkeeper last season.
He said: "We knew John was a good keeper but I think he has surprised a lot of people with how well he did when he finally got his chance."
