TWO more days of voluntary action sponsored by the Environment Agency are planned at Cleeve Prior.
The Action Earth days will take place tomorrow and Monday, May 31.
Next Tuesday, Cleeve Prior Heritage Trust's volunteer team will be at Quarry Lane, moving bricks and other materials to make way for the construction of a bird hide on the parish sanctuary. On Bank Holiday Monday, the volunteers will be back to clear away rubbish from the Trust sites in Quarry Lane.
"This is a great opportunity for people to care for and improve their local environment," said Don Warren, chairman of the Heritage Trust.
"It is also a chance to work with others who love the countryside and we welcome anybody, young or old, who wants to join in and find more."
Tools will be provided by the Trust and refreshments will also be available. Suitable clothing and footwear will be necessary. Contact Don Warren on 01789 778570.
