A VINTAGE Maserati racing car, a 1930s Austin 10 and a 1959 TR3A has rolled into Upton-upon-Severn as a taste of things to come.
Classic, vintage and veteran vehicles of land and air will arrive at Fish Meadow in July for a Wings and Wheels event offering two days of family fun.
Aviation enthusiasts will be able to see Pipers and Tiger Moths, hang gliders and microlights.
More than 100 vintage cars will be on display, including a collection of historic Formula 1 racing cars and a £2m Maserati.
Bugattis, MGs and Morgans will be there, with examples of steam-powered cars and vintage motorcycles dating back to the Edwardian era.
Visitors to the festival on Saturday and Sunday, July 10 and 11, will be able to talk to the pilots, take a flight on a Piper Warrior simulator, sit in the cockpit of a visiting aircraft or even experience a trial lesson in a microlight.
Those camping on site will be able to watch aircraft arriving throughout the weekend.
Proceeds from Wings and Wheels will go to the Earls Croome Church Tower Fund and the County Air Ambulance.
Admission will be £7 per adult (£5 for OAPs) and £3 for children aged over five. Family tickets for two adults and two children will also be available at £15. For more information see www.wingsand wheels.org or e-mail enquiries@wingsandwheels.org
