THE identity of a man whose badly decomposed body was found in Worcestershire woodland has not yet been revealed.
A police spokeswoman confirmed officers were still in the process of contacting the man's next of kin. His name and details were expected to be announced today.
The body was found in Hawford Wood, off the A449, near Ombersley, last Monday - near the spot where murdered French student Celine Figard's body was found almost 10 years ago.
It has not yet been confirmed by police if the man's death is being treated as suspicious. It is known he did not originate from south Worcestershire and is not believed to have any direct connections with the area.
