MATT Burke is the next player on Worcester Rugby Club's shopping list.
The Australian legend, who has been released by Super 12 club New South Wales Waratahs, is eyeing a move to Europe and Worcester have already lodged their interest.
Burke, with more than 100 appearances for the Waratahs under his belt, looks set to show off his talents on Sunday for the Barbarians against England at Twickenham.
However, I understand that before that, talks are planned between Burke's representatives as Worcester look to finalise their squad for their Premiership baptism.
The 31-year-old is Australia's most capped full back, having played 76 Tests for the Wallabies and scoring 851 points. Burke's signature would, however, mean the end of the line for Chris Garrard.
