A MAIDEN century from Richard Hall helped put Herefordshire in command on the second day of their Minor Counties Championship Western Division clash with Wiltshire at Colwall.
Hall's 162 came off 168 balls and included five sixes and 20 fours, and with good support from Rob Hughes (57) and Ismail Dawood (52), Herefordshire were able to declare their second innings on 312-4.
Wiltshire, set 394 to win, closed on two without loss after two overs.
Earlier, the visitors were dismissed for 236 in their first innings to trail by 81 runs.
Paceman Simon Roberts was the most successful Herefordshire bowler with 5-86 -- his first five-wicket haul for the county -- while former Worcestershire spinner Matt Rawnsley took 3-41 and Mark Horrocks 2-41.
Richard Bedbrook was Wiltshire's leading run scorer with 55.
