AN unexpected 'hurricane' is set to hit Worcester's Perdiswell Leisure Centre tomorrow night.
Snooker star Alex 'Hurricane' Higgins will be paying a visit for an exhibition display with John Virgo.
Higgins is replacing Jimmy White who is unable to attend after undergoing an emergency appendix removal operation in Ireland.
The 42-year-old went into hospital last Friday and was operated on shortly afterwards.
He is now convalescing which has forced him to abandon part of his schedule of exhibition displays.
It is the latest setback for the controversial White who earlier this month escaped with a police caution after admitting cocaine possession.
He was due to play a seven-frame match against Virgo, star of the BBC television show 'Big Break'.
Flamboyant two-time world champion Higgins, one of the most legendary and controversial players in the game's history, will take over from White for the night when there will also be a trick shot and comedy show from Virgo, including his famous impressions of celebrity snooker players.
The event is expected to attract a bumper attendance. Tickets, priced £12, will be available on the night when the doors will open at 7.30pm.
