FORMER England cricketer and now television star Phil Tufnell arrived in Evesham last night as part of his mammoth fund-raising walk across England.
The I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! reality television programme winner hopes to raise more than £250,000 for the charity Macmillan Cancer Relief.
His 500-mile walk will take in all the cricket grounds where there are Test matches this summer, as well as other cricket grounds.
At around 8.15pm last night the 39-year-old arrived at Evesham Cricket Club, where he was welcomed by a crowd of fans and joined county cricketers in the bar for a well-earned pint.
He stopped in Evesham overnight and was due to re-start his walk from the club at around 11am today, when he will be joined by Princess Anne's daughter Zara Phillips.
The duo will make their way towards npower, at the Shire Business Park, off Warndon Way, in Worcester, where he is due to arrive at 4pm.
Phil will then stay overnight in Worcester before heading off to Belbroughton Cricket Club on Thursday at around 10am.
