WARWICK Arts Centre has announced its new 2004/05 classical Concert Series, which runs from September until next May.
Subscription tickets for four or more concerts are now on sale, at a saving of 20 percent, before tickets go on general sale on August 2.
The Series opens with Manchester's famed Halle Orchestra and a programme that includes Beethoven's Eroica Symphony on September 29.
There follow visits from the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, the London Mozart Players, the Russian State Symphony Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg.
Concertgoers can look forward to many epic orchestral works such as Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, Handel's messiah, Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No 3, Rossini's William Tell Overture and Mahler's Symphony No 5.
Plus there will be a range of pre-concert talks on offer.
The concerts take place in the Butterworth Hall at the Coventry venue, which opened back in 1981.
A special Gala concert takes place next January when Riccardo Muti, director at the Hall's inaugural concert, returns with the Philharmonia Orchestra, to celebrate the occasion.
