BARNT Green Cricket Club First XI made light work of rivals Wellington to reach the National Knockout regional semi-finals.
Lyndon Jones' side saw off their fellow Birmingham and District Premier Division opponents by 80 runs at Cherry Hill Road last Sunday to set up a home clash with Banbury on Sunday, June 6.
James Golding hit an unbeaten 60, while Kieran Rees made 51 from 28 balls to set Green on their way.
Zaf Ahmed's 44 and 37 from Gavin Haynes helped the hosts post 238-5.
Skipper Jones and Rees ripped through the Wellington replay, taking 3-26 and 3-33 respectively.
Rees took his wickets in an eight-over spell and also provided a direct run out. Wellington were all out for 158.
Saturday's league match was a slightly different story as Green were made to settle for a losing draw at home to Moseley.
Moseley were bowled out for 157, thanks to a mammoth 46-over spell from Jones (4-61) and Richard Illingworth (3-54) but Green could only reach 121-9 at the end of play. Haynes top scored on 42.
Jones admitted his team did not bat well but said Moseley's decision to keep the same ball for their innings was crucial.
He said: "With a hard new ball it comes on to the bat better and it travels over the ground quicker but with a softer ball it doesn't come off the wicket or bat well."
