MEADOW Park U15s have seen their hard work rewarded with a successful season.
Not present: Tom Dennison, Bradley Algar, Chris Higgins, Cary Barrett and Paul Hutchins.
Paul Hutchins' side finished third in the Stourport and District Boys League Division One and beat Hasbury Rangers 2-1 to win the League Cup at Stourport Swifts' ground.
In addition, the team won the Stourport League five-a-side tournament, winning all seven games. Goalkeeper Chris Higgins, who has recently signed for Coventry City, did not concede a goal during that competition.
The U15s were also awarded the Worcestershire FA's fair play award ahead of all junior teams in the county.
Manager Paul Hutchins, a former Bromsgrove Rovers player, said: "I would like to thank the team, the coaches and all the supporters for their fantastic efforts this season - they are a credit to Meadow Park and to Bromsgrove."
Medals will be presented at Bromsgrove Labour Club this Friday at 7.30pm.
l Catshill Juniors U9s also had a successful season, finishing fourth in Central Warwickshire Youth League Division B after ending their season on a seven-game winning streak.
Paul Allbutt's side have won 12 of 22 games this season, drawing six and losing four.
They were unbeaten in their last 12 matches, and had their winning sequence ended with a home draw in the last match of the season.
Shane Shallcross was the team's top scorer with 30 goals, while Mitch Mansfield got 16.
Catshill also reached the quarter-final of the Central Warwickshire Cup.
Allbutt is standing down as manager and all players and parents thank him for his tremendous hard work.
l Hanbury U14s finished fifth in Central Warwickshire Youth League Division Four.
Phil Cross was named player of the year, while the most improved player of the year award went to Jonathan Walsh. Club man of the year was Matthew Hunt.
Adam Fitzer was player of the year for Hanbury U15s and most improved player was Jonathan Hunt. Jake Doyle was club man of the year.
