THE Bromsgrove and District Branch of the Leukaemia Research Fund would like to thank everyone who helped to make our annual Fun Run on May 16 such a fabulous success.
A record number of runners (460) turned out in glorious weather to run a 10k route and a 5k route starting and finishing at Bromsgrove Rugby Club.
We would particularly like to thank our sponsors, Living Well Health Club at the Hilton, Bromsgrove as well as the Rugby Club, Centech of Aston Fields (PA system), St John Ambulance and all our volunteer helpers and marshals.
When all the sponsorship money is in we expect to have raised somewhere in excess of £7,000.
Our thanks also to the local press for helping to promote this event.
